I stopped at Wellington Reservoir on Friday. I was unsure where exactly to go. I ended up at the boat launch dock on the south side of the reservoir. Ruddys and Coots were abundant. I spotted loon, but it was not an adult RT Loon. I think it as a Juvenile RT Loon, but I've not seen any other posts about a juvenile so I'm a bit hesitant. It had an all white neck and underparts and its back was spotted black and white. Has anyone else seen this bird from this spot? Could it be an immature Common Loon? Thoughts?
