The Pine Siskins have made it to southeast Ohio. I spotted a couple feeding
among the goldfinches at the feeder outside my living room window yesterday
afternoon. I also have had quite a few Golden-crowned Kinglets in the woods
here for the past week.

I had one goldfinch at my feeder this morning that was a stand out. All of
the others have been in full winter plumage for quite awhile here. This one
still had a bright yellow head with black cap. The rest of his body was
showing his winter "coat". Quite a striking little devil.
