The 3 Cave Swallows reported by Gabe Leidy were still present this morning.
I first saw them in the north section and was able to get some great views.
They were also visible at the south section adjacent to the parking lot, and
were joined by a N. Rough-winged Swallow, which allowed a nice comparison.
Also present were 5 Snow Buntings and a small group of Redheads.

The surf at Sims Park in Euclid was really rolling. Plenty of
Red-breasted Mergansers were
about, as well as a couple of Common Mergs, a single Goldeneye, 2 Black
Scoters, and the male
Surf Scoter.

See you on the trails,

Chris Pierce
