Been birding on foot close to home here in NE Mahoning Co. the last couple days.  Great weather and some nice birds: 2 yellow-bellied sapsuckers, n. flickers, red-eyed vireo, red-breasted nuthatch, 2 brown creepers, golden-crowned kinglets, winter wren, 13 e. bluebirds, Am. robins, gray catbird, Swainson's thrush, cedar waxwings, Nashville warbler, 12 yellow-rumped warblers, scarlet tanager, e. towhees, chipping sparrow, song sparrow, 6 white-throated sparrows, and 6 dark-eyed juncos.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
