A northern saw-whet owl was in the mulberry tree at the end of the
Headland's Beach state park lot. It could be seen from the Buckeye Trail
terminus sign. Many kinglets and YR warblers were fussing around it.

Both LeConte's and Nelson's sharp-tailed sparrows were near the pond along
the boardwalk at the Wake Robin trail of Mentor Marsh. Lincoln's and swamp
sparrows were also abundant, as well as a couple Indigo buntings. Thanks
to Larry Richardson in helping us spot!
