As of 4PM today, there were three good birds at The Conneaut Sandspit. The previously described Brant was easily viewed at close range. The Red Phalarope at times, came to within twenty feet of visiting birders for great photo oportunities. The Phalarope was flushed many times by bombarding Bonaparte's Gulls. A Surf Scoter moved around inside the Breakwall. The only shorebirds other than Killdeer were two Dunlin at the platform area. It was brutal with extemely windy conditions.
