Yesterday I went to the Haehnle Audubon sanctuary in Jackson,Michigan to
view Sandhill cranes and was pleased and to see a Whooping crane mixed in
with the 1500 plus Sandhills.Lets hope this bird moves south into Ohio. For
directions to this Michigan Audubon sanctuary go to www.haehnlesanctuary.org.
The Whooping crane was visible without bino's but I had good views in a
spotting scope of it.
