I wasn't going to post a single bird but I did see a male purple finch 10/16/10 at East Harbor State Park in the morning 10/16. It was seen from the disk golf course maze just north of the entrance road that goes by the entrance to the camping area. After looking at it I couldn't get a picture fast enough before it disappeared into the leaves high in a tree. Many Cedar Waxwings, Yellow-rumped Warblers, few Blackpolls, many Hermit Thrush and many Kinglets and B.Creeper. Looked along the area south of beach and couldn't find much else different.
