It was a beautiful day for our October bird count..................the
dogwood berries are pretty much gone along the boardwalk.........but
.there are still a lot left along the Walking Trail behind the Bird
Center. There are a LOT OF RUSTY BLACKBIRDS in the marsh right now.
Just a reminder that the road beyond the Bird Center is closed Mon-Sat
morning. It opens Saturday about 12:30 pm and is open all day on
Sundays. The Bird Center, Observation tower, and Walking Trails remain
open. Our last guided walk will be held on Sunday, November 28th at 1 pm
in conjunction with Wooden Feather Day.
