On a drive to Athens yesterday, my husband and I saw a bald eagle in a tree
alongside a manmade lake between Logan and New Straitsville exits on US33.
We were both surprised as we noticed this huge bird, and realized at the
same time what we were seeing.  Beautiful bird and our first sighting of
one.
