Pat Hayes, Paula Bartlett, and I conducted the October monthly census
yesterday. This is 13th year for this census. It was a beautiful
day, both for weather and birds. We observed 62 species and 3029

but the total individuals is well below the the 13 year average of
5656. No new species for October were observed and nothing really
uncommon was observed.
