Greetings-

The question has risen as to the best time of day to witness waterbird
movements on the lakefront. Typically flights begin between 8:30 a.m
and 9:00 a.m. Flights peak, almost like clockwork, at and around 9:30
a.m. They slow significantly after 11 or 11:30 a.m. Today's count at
Rocky River was a rare day in regards to the flight lasting through 1
p.m. but yet again, today's flight peaked at 9:30 and slowed at 11:30
a.m. So, get out in the morning!

best of birding-
Jen Brumfield
