I'd just like to add to what Rob Thorn said about Pine Siskins here
in Franklin Co. I have been seeing them at my two thistle feeders now
for almost a week. But, yesterday I had a high of 12 at one time. It
has been years since I've seen that number at my home feeders and
never where I now live. Now to keep watching for a redpoll at my
feeders! Strangely I haven't had any winter sparrows while I've been
enjoying the siskins. Not even juncos. They've been here this fall,
just not this past week. I am very lucky to have Blendon Woods Metro
Park as my backyard neighbor!

Good Birding!
