I was at Sims Park in Euclid this mornng around 9:30am with Jeanne Hrenko and then I returned there around 1:30pm. Was able to see the 10 Black Scoters (9f, 1m), 1 Lesser Scaup female, 3 Common Goldeneye, in afternoon saw 2 Ruddy Ducks, approx 21 American Black Ducks in with approx 9 Mallards, few Golden-crowned Kinglets in park. There were thousands of Red-breasted Mergansers flying west and east all day. Two other birders saw a dozen Tundra Swans flying in from the north with a Snow Goose sometime after I left. Maybe next time I should look up.

I was at Wildwood State Park Marina around 10:30am and then later in afternoon. There were 2 Hooded Mergansers males, 5 Bufflehead, a Scaup female (looks like Greater to me-not sure)in the marina and a Coopers Hawk, dozen Golden-crowned Kinglets in Villa Angela. In morning I counted 1000 Red-breasted Mergansers flying west at one time near marina. Not sure how many I saw today. Was not able to find anything unusual.
