Greetings from the pseudo-tundra of Paulding County:

When it rains, it apparently rains geese in Paulding County! In addition to the Brant, who was present again this morning along Township Road 24 south of Haviland, the Thomas wetlands 2 miles east of Antwerp was host to an impressive flock of 27 Snow Geese and 8 Greater White-fronted Geese! The Snow Geese seem to stop by at Thomas during migration, but it has been nine years since we have seen any Greater White-fronted.
Kudos to Scott Myers for calling us about this great flock!!

Bird long and prosper,

Doug & Micki Dunakin
Antwerp, O.
