This afternoon around 2:30pm the Brant was not present in the field
along Road 24 but after a little searching I located it at the pond
behind the unmarked warehouse building north of Road 24 on the west
side of CR-107. Also present at the pond were 24 Cackling Geese and 2
Snow Geese. At least 150 Lapland Longspurs and 10 Snow Buntings were
also in the area.

Good birding,
Dave Slager
Columbus, Ohio

The bird seems to favor the wheat stubble on the south side of road 24, but did take flight into the corn stubble on the north side of the road this AM.

No birds, actually, were present today - a stark contrast to Monday when the throngs of geese were accompanied by Mallards, Northern Pintails, and American Black Ducks.
