Cave swallow and Sabine's gull are two species you don't mention together much. Two cave swallows and one tree swallow were flying over the marsh east of the entrance road at Ottawa Refuge. Could this be round two?

The Sabine's gull was at Metzger Marsh this morning. I saw it briefly at 8:15 and then it disappeared for an hour and half. It thn was consistent for about 45 minutes before disappearing again. Be patient. There was also a 1st cycle lesser black-backed gull.

Happy Thanksgiving,
John Pogacnik
