Went to Wellington this afternoon hoping to find the White Fronted Goose and was
not disappointed (life bird). Also saw the following:
Ruddy ducks (lots)
Bufflehead
Coots (lots)
Redheads
Bald Eagle
Crows

After leaving Wellington I headed up to the lake at Avon Point - saw the
following:
Loons
Megansers
Bonaparte Gulls (I saw a first year one and thought I had something different
until I checked my book- but I feel good that I was able to recognize I had
something different and then figure out what)
Herring and Ring Billed

Managed to do all this without getting rained on - rained before and some after
but not during.
