The open water to the west of the Cedar Point Chausee had an estimated 800
tundra swans this afternoon.  Also six mute swans off by themselves, but who's
counting?

Another highlight was a peregrine on the old ConAgra building just east of
Huron.   At 3:00 the glaucous gull mentioned by Gabe Leidy was still hanging
around near the Huron lighthouse, and the large flock of ring-billed gulls in
the protected bay to the west of the channel breakwall held two great
black-backed and one lesser black-backed gulls.
