Went out this AM to look at the Lakefront. With the morning sun, great looks up close and personal were had. Highlights at Sims were:
Black Scoters-6 (1 male)
Surf Scoters-2
Horned Grebes-25
Loons-2
Goldeneye-1pr.

Rocky River- 2 Surf Scoters close in, many horned grebes

Bradstreet Landing- not allot of activity. Birds were way out. 20 Bonaparte's were in close and active. As well as 2 more Loons and 1 coot. Gulls were further to the west for the most part. Every now and then streams of RBME's would go by flying west to east. Many RBME's in with the gulls.

Cahoon Memorial Park- 4 Black Ducks. Just a gorgeous day to be out with all the blue sky and sunshine.

Sally Isacco, Chardon
