There was a large movement of American goldfinches and pine siskins along
the lake at my yard in North Perry, Lake County. In the two hours I watched
I saw close one thousand goldfinches and 150-200 pine siskins. A number of
birds stopped to visit my feeders. Included in the groups were 3 COMMON
REDPOLLS. When I got home this afternoon my thistle feeders were way down
indicating that there was a lot of birds at the feeders today.
