On 11/10 at West Branch SP in Portage Co. were a latish great egret, hairy woodpecker, golden-crowned kinglets, Carolina wren, and e. bluebird.  In eastern Mahoning Co. on 11/12-13 I checked some areas of Coitsville, Poland, and Springfield Townships and found Cooper's hawk, red-tailed hawk, 5 killdeer, pileated woodpecker, many Am. crows, Carolina wren, e. bluebirds, only a few Am. robins, Am. tree sparrows, song sparrow, and dark-eyed juncos.  At Evans L. on 11/13 were a probable family group of 5 tundra swans, 10 buffleheads, hooded mergansers, ruddy ducks, common loon, pied-billed grebes, Am. coots, 1500 ring-billed gulls, and herring gulls.  At nearby Pine L. were Canada geese, 15 gadwalls, Am. black ducks, mallards, 25 n. shovelers, buffleheads, 20 hooded mergansers, 350 ruddy ducks, horned grebe, double-crested cormorant, Am. coots, 500 ring-billed gulls, herring gulls, n. flicker, Am. tree sparrows, 10 song sparrows, swamp sparrows, and
 dark-eyed juncos.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
