This afternoon, a chipping sparrow showed up at my feeder. Other visitors
were mourning dove, dark-eyed junce, song sparrow, house finch, American
goldfinch, Carolina wren, Carolina chickadee, northern cardinal, blue jay,
and the much hated house sparrow. The chipping sparrow was a huge
surprise for this time of year.
