The Sandhill Cranes reported earlier by N. Madison were still at Funk 
today.  We counted 150+ at the edge of a plowed field on the north side of 
Wilderness Rd about half way between So. Elyria Rd and Funk Rd.  Pretty 
awesome to see that many cranes in one place.  We also saw 6 Sandhill 
Cranes at the back edge of the plowed field next to the Blachleyville 
Church on Rt 95.  These cranes are close enough for photographing with a 
telephoto lens.  There were 2 Northern Harriers in the fields off of the 
Viewing Platform.  Also, the peat bog on Wilderness Rd is filled with 
water now and held 300+ mallards.
