I'm at work.  And someone whom I know was driving down through Big Island WA and noticed a lot of scopes...he wondered what was going on... he is a biology teacher and a birder.  I am going to assume that it was Shorties on the march unless something else has popped up.  If there was anything, please post so I can advise him.
