I know everyone has been seeing them, but it's nice to know they are still
there as of 5:30 Dec 30. We saw 9! Also, 2 Rough legged, one bald eagle,
plus harriers, red tailed and kestrels. I didn't see it but one in the
group saw a merlin.

The short eared owls put on a display from 4:30 to 5:30 and even "barked"
for us. They reminded me of large nighthawks with their acrobatics.

We were at Killdeer earlier. Not too much but had a rough legged, 3 bald
eagles, plus lots of the regulars. No snow buntings or shrikes. :(

Fun day.
