Four species of geese at Grand Lake St. Mary's

Today two Cackling Geese, one Snow Goose (blue phase) and one Greater 
White-fronted Goose were seen in a flock of a few hundred Canada Geese  feeding 
in a field on the north side of Rt 703 just a little east of the Mercer 
Waterfowl Refuge.  This is on the south side of Grand Lake. The geese were quite 
close to the road and afforded good views.
