Today while trying to add to my century list, I was rewarded by finding 2
Wilson's Snipe dabbling in a creek off of Kister Road outside of Shreve in
Wayne County.I consulted my Sibley Guide to be sure and there's no doubt.
Sibley's, however, referred to it as a Common Snipe, but searches on the
Internet (i.e. allaboutbirds.org) yielded Wilson Snipe results. This was
not only a century list, but also a life list bird for me. Pretty exciting!
