Finally a chance to go to North Ridgeville to find the Short-eared owls.
Arrived at 5pm and waited. While waiting enjoyed views of an adult and a
juvenile Bald Eagle near the nest. A Red-Tailed Hawk in a distant tree and
two Northern harrier hovering at either end of the field. Then around
5:35pm there they were four Short-ears they were calling and doing their
acrobatic maneuvers. They didn't seem to care we that we were even there
landing on posts only five feet from people watching in there cars. By 5:45
it was to dark to see any more.
