Several of you asked for directions to where I have been seeing the Larkspurs
and Buntings.  I work in the little burg of Rosedale and my sightings are in a 3
mile radius around there.  Rosedale is about 6 miles east of Mechanicsburg south
of Rt. 161.  Several of the road names are Bates, Findley Guy, and Rosedale
Road.  Watch for flocks along the road and approach slowly.  Usually you can get
quite close and simply watch through the windshield.  A scope on a window mount
would give even better looks.
Good luck
Tom Beachy
