Normally I would not post this,but it is the first January Killdeer I have
seen in a long time!! While birding the north part of the reservoir around
5:00 this evening,a lone Killdeer was on the mudflats.It was the only bird
out there!!! On the walk back to the car,my lovely canine startled an
Eastern Towhee from the underbrush! This area is just off Grant Rd.
