The individuals who first reported the bird said it was a possible "Snowy
Owl"  The excitement of the rest of us who viewed it from 1/4 to 1/2 mile
away, just assumed.  They individuals who found it took photos and sent them
to me.  I cropped them down as they were fairly good photos.  They appear to
show a reddish tail and shoulders on an all white bird.  I (and the original
finders)now believe the the bird to be the leucistic Red-tailed Hawk that is
being seen.  Alas, no Snowy Owl on this years count...
