About one month ago there was a posting of a peregrine falcon at the Huron
harbor grain elevator. A friend and I have two more recent sightings, December
27 and again today (Jan.5). For the last seven or eight years peregrines have
been regularly sighted in the same location, but to our knowledge never nested.
Much of the former Con Agra facility has been demolished. The most common
sighting location seems to be the window ledge of the center top most window
located directly above the Con Agra logo. Local pigeons and Canada Geese seem
unimpressed.________________________
