Fellow birders,

     The Eastern Phoebe that I have seen several times this winter, was back
perched on the edge of the Phoebe nest under my house eve.  The Carolina was
in the other nest.  The Phoebe was just sitting on the edge of the nest.
 The Wren was deep in the nest, fluffed up to about twice normal size.  You
could hardly tell it was a wren.  It would seem that the Carolina wren, more
accustomed to cold weather, has adapted a better perching method than the
phoebe.  At any rate, I hope they are both OK in the morning.  I will be
"Perched" inside with two wood burning stoves, so I know I'll be OK.
