We kept out garage door open while doing outdoor chores in the milder
temperatures yesterday. My husband noticed a small bird scurrying around
inside the garage and called me over to see it. It was a winter wren!
The peanut feeder hanging just off my kitchen window has been attracting
some nice birds. I have had black-capped chickadees, red-breasted and
white-breasted nuthatches, and swamp, song, and tree sparrows.
Today I have a fox sparrow visiting my feeder area.
