There is a flock of vultures at the Danville (Knox Co.) end of the Mohican
Valley Trail. Today we saw 12 (11 Black Vultures and 1 Turkey Vulture).
Photos posted at Flickr.com/photos/rriii. Some local youths said the
vultures were there a lot. To get to the trail, in Danville turn east off
of Rt 62 on Ross St (at Miller's Hardware store)then north on East St
which deadends at the trailhead. There is a gravel parking lot at the
split rail fence. The vultures roost in the trees over the barn across
the creek. You can see them from the parking lot.
