Common Grackles and Red-winged Blackbirds were present in large numbers at
Funk Bottoms Wildlife Area in Wayne County this afternoon. Ducks and Geese
were there also, but not in large numbers yet. We were able to drive back to
the observation tower, despite the snow. The water levels had not flooded
Wilderness Road, but I'm expecting the water will be higher tomorrow as the
snow melts. We found 4 Rough-legged Hawks and 4 Bald Eagles.
