After a Sunday morning outing with my choir near Berlin, about ten of my students were able to witness a displaying Horned Lark hover, sing, and then free fall over fields of snow before boarding the bus.  It was a first, of course, for all of them!  In addition, saw three Turkey Vultures over Kidron on the return trip.
