I just walked out in the yard a while ago and the Eastern Phoebe landed on a
branch in front of me, wagged its tail, and then swooped across the snow
after an imaginary(?) bug, very Phoebe like. This bird may make it,
especially with the groundhogs predicting an early spring. I'm really
rooting for the animal kingdom on both these points.
