It is with sadness that I am reporting that the Eagle Nest at Three Creeks
Metro Park has fallen from the tree, most likely due to ice and strong winds
during the past 48 hours.  The limbs that had been supporting the nest are
also no longer visible and have likely broken off from the tree.  The eagles
had been active at the nest all Winter and have been observed many times by
many people.  Hopefully, the will rebuild the nest in the same general area.
