The nasty weather must have helped lure a group of 6 bluebirds to my Worthington feeders yesterday. They looked splendid, and I was about to get the camera when the resident Coopers hawk decided to give them a scare. At least they got a few peanuts before being forced to flee. Also present yesterday were two grackles that aren't common at my feeders. The redbreasted nuthatch is still around, along with the following regulars:
Downy, hairy, & redbellied woodpeckers
Carolina wrens
A. Goldfinches
House finches
White-throated sparrows
D.E. Juncos
Bluejays
A. Robins
WB Nuthatch
M. Doves
E. Starlings (dam)
House sparrows (dam)

Also was happy to see two A. Kestrels by the OSU airport (hadn't seen them in a few weeks, they nested in that area last summer).
