The ice has mostly cleared out so I am able to watch the lake again. There
was a decent movement of birds today with nearly constant small flocks of
red-breasted mergansers. The best bird was a single cackling goose flying
with a group of 17 Canada geese. The cackling goose was dwarfed by the
Canada's.
