After stopping several times at the east end of Wilderness and the west end
of Schwartzwalder (where flooding crosses each road) we did not relocate the
Funk Black Scoter. We met others that had also looked for the scoter without
success.

There is a lot of water in the area and lots of waterfowl. The scoter could
still be in the area and just not located today.
