I made a brief series of stops at this reservoir northwest of Columbus this afternoon and found a White-winged Scoter off Area L (an access about 1/2 mile south of the Home Rd bridge. The bird appeared to be a young male with minimal breeding plumage. It was one of the few interesting birds on a mostly bird-less reservoir. I checked nearly all of the reservoir and found very few waterbirds. The best were small flocks of Lesser Scaup and Ruddy Ducks down near the Zoo (by the dam). The vulture roost appeared to be materializing around the southeast shore -- I had 20-25 there --- but I was too early in the afternoon for the bulk of the birds.
