At 6:50pm this evening I had 2 Woodcock in field next to the Dog Pound near Ross Lake. I stayed for one show before leaving, was clear enough to see the whole flight. My first of the season here.

Ross County has been blessed with at least 3 Bald Eagle nests this year. There could well be others. The Lower Twin nest is oldest I believe. The Richmond Dale area still has a nest too.
There is also one on the Scioto River along Charleston Pike, just East of Chillicothe. Hope they all hatch ok.
