The ice is gone from the Wellington Upground Reservoir in Lorain County near
the village of Wellington. 

Yesterday afternoon there were many Red-breasted Mergansers and we found 3
Horned Grebes. 

Not a big movement of water birds yet, but the water is opening up for them.
