A late post but wanted to note them, On Friday afternoon last week we were arriving at Mercer Refuge and at the same time over the Heron Rookery and large flock of Sandhills was approaching. There were 80 of them .. they were flying in to the osuth towards us and at one point looked as though they would land in the fields there but then circled to the west and we lost view of them. We wnet ove rot a field just south west of the refuge where we have seen them land before but weren't there. . I know this post is worthless as a viewing possibility, but did want to make a note of them coming thru. Russell Lima, Ohio
