The 3 White Pelican still present today as of 300 pm. All 3 were
sitting on a log preening themselves well viewed from the northeast
most boat ramp a bit north of the beach. Other highlights included 5
Horned Grebes, 200 Scaup, 50 Ring-necked Ducks, 40 Ruddy Ducks, 12
Wigeon, 8 Red-breasted Mergansers, 2 Common Mergansers.

As for Caesar Creek the lake is very high thus almost all the
waterfowl seen were again Scaup but also 6 Goldeneye, 2 Shovelers
(feeding on grass at the beach), & 1 Wigeon (same as Shovelers). 4
Horned Larks in surrounding fields & lots of TV & BV. Signs of spring
included 20 Tree Swallows off Harveysburg Rd ramp & 1 Phoebe calling
at the North Boat Ramp.
