Just spotted a single Canada Goose flying over my rear deck in Beachwood.
My first impression was of a raptor -- a large, dark, GLIDING silhouette in
the edge of my peripheral vision.  What turned out to be a Canada Goose
continued in a steady, bowed-winged glide for a half mile at an altitude
constant altitude (maybe 600-1000 feet), before it was obscured from my
view.  I'd never seen a Canada Goose glide except for that last second
before touching down, or a few missed strokes in formation aloft.  Curious.
