Today (Thursday march 3) around 2PM I observed a rather sizeable flock of Rusty Blackbirds along the Blanchard River in the southern part of Hancock County.  The property was Rieck Center for Habitat Studies, a nature area operated by the University of Findlay, located on the Blanchard River about half-way between Findlay and Mt. Blanchard.
I counted 58 individuals in the flock.
